My project work captures aerial perspectives of the unique, exposed geology of the American Southwest. I am particularly drawn to the striking tapestry of layered rock formations, vibrant clay hills, and ephemeral salt flats that can be found throughout this region.

Several of my projects reflect a deep, underlying commitment to protecting public lands. Driven by a profound connection to the landscapes I document, I stand firmly behind the preservation of these lands. Witnessing the overt, visible pressures currently threatening these open spaces,

I have a strong desire to ensure they stay wild and enduring.

At Risk: Aerial Views of An Ancient Geologic Masterpiece

Through aerial photography, this project offers a new perspective on the Colorado Plateau, looking beyond sweeping vistas to reveal the intricate patterns and geological beauty of its public lands. The work invites viewers to recognize what makes these places unique and irreplaceable and consider our responsibility to protect them.

Threatened: Aerials Views of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument

Threatened is similar to the At Risk project, but with a focus on one specific area of the Colorado Plateau - the public lands of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

Through aerial photography, this project offers a new perspective on this vast landscape, looking beyond its beautiful vistas to reveal the intimate abstractions of color, texture, and pattern. The work asks what happens when we stop seeing landscape as scenery and begin to see it as something we are responsible for protecting.

The Living Canvas: Aerial Salt Flat Abstractions

This project transforms the seemingly monochromatic salt flats of the American Southwest into a vibrant gallery of abstract art, capturing the hidden visual complexity of these dynamic ecosystems.
